Design a Treasure Token! (May)
This month, we are going to make a ribbon, necklace, button/pin or cell phone charm for the young summer campers attending the Inglewood Bird Sanctuary. These tokens are given out at the end of their camp as a treasure they keep and remember their experience by. They are very valued by the campers. It needs to be something you could wear around your neck attach onto your clothing, cell phone or back pack. Use your imagination; you could make it out of beads or a painted piece of wood or even cord with a charm to hang off.
The Inglewood Bird Sanctuary is a wildlife reserve located along the Bow River in which offers environmental education activities, courses and programs for all ages and abilities. It also runs summer day camps for children.
